The short version of the story is that there was an accident and the 8 Easy Bits site crashed. The longer (and more accurate) version is that I’m a big dumb idiot who should learn to leave well enough alone.

At some point I would like to archive the comics in a more convenient and easily accessible form, but for the time being I’m afraid the best I can do is offer you a couple of .zip files.

The worst part about all of this is that when the site broke, I lost all of those neat commentary tracts I wrote up for the first eighty or so strips. Bummer. If, while reading these, some specific question jumps out at you, feel free to drop me a line or take advantage of my Formspring page.
